Hello book lovers!
As promised, we will continue to read this summer and keep in-touch by sharing what we are reading. It's important to share our thoughts to encourage others to read the books that we enjoy. This way we will still feel connected even if we are far apart.
As a start, you will need to have a g-mail account to join the group. You will need to be a follower of this blog in order to post or share. So, go ahead, do those and we'll start reconnecting through this blog site!
Have a great summer! I miss you all already!
Hello book club friends, I want to say how much i'm thankful for welcoming me into this club. On the 14th of july, I took the compass test in order to see if I was eligible for the running start program. We saw our scores immediately after we were done and I had passed the requirements. The running start program allows high school students (11th and 12th) to take college classes that count as both high school and college credits. Meaning by two years time, I would graduate with a high school diploma and an associates. So I just wanted to say how grateful i was to be apart of this club and even more to create a special bond with you guys. I'm going to miss looking forward to the end of the day and being able to see all you lovely people and sharing our feelings about the books. I'm truly going to miss you guys, i hope we can still stay intact.

P.S. SO GUYS IN PIKA MARKETPLACE, SEATTLE THEY SELL A BOUQUET OF FLOWERS FOR $5 ONLY AND ALL I COULD THINK WAS LANGUAGE OF FLOWERS!!! AND EVERYTIME I SAW SUNFLOWERS ALL THAT CROSSED MY MIND WAS FALSE RICHES :D
Natalie!!! We will miss you this school year. Your kindness and humility stands out me and It's rare to find a student like you. I am happy though for your achievements and I'm proud that you made it to program.
ReplyDeleteYou are one of the honorary members, a founding member to be exact. I will miss having your cheerful attitude in raising some money for our club. Thanks for all you've done.
We will be forever bonded with the books that we've read together and that makes it special. Everywhere you go and every time you see flowers you will think of Language of Flowers...hahaha! Funny thing, our family just visited Pike's Market last week. We left Washington last Wednesday. Anyway, I also saw the $5 flower arrangements. They were cheap!!! But I did not buy any of them because I was too critical about how different flowers were put together... the meanings clash. I end up making my cheap arrangements from Safeway though. Next time we're visiting Washington, we'll come and say "hi". Take care Natalie and drop us a note on this blog or on FB when you have time. We'll be ecstatic to hear from you.
AWWWW Mrs.Napalan, thank you so much for everything! I'll miss you and all the memories we've made within book club, there really was never a dull moment with you guys! I loved helping out and spending time with you :D I hope more students join the book club and realise their love for books, they certainly won't regret joining! I will always remember this as the first official book club I joined and the strong bond we had. And about books, recentlyI went to a garage sale and found a selection of books for 50 cents!!! I was surprised to find Water for Elephants and i'm excited to start reading it. I will continue to read for the rest of my life! And about the flowers, SO TRUE! Sadly, not many people care about the meanings. Atleast we made an attempt and still continue to think about the language of flowers! I'll be waiting at the other side and I shall stay in contact. Love you guys x nat
